RECEPTION OF PARTICIPANTS IN LAGUARDIA
Throughout the afternoon, participants will arrive at the Silken Villa de Laguardia hotel on their own. As they arrive, they will be received and welcome packs will be delivered. Tour will start with a welcome dinner (standing buffet) and briefing. Please note: Those arriving by ferry from England will have boarded in Portsmouth on Tuesday, October 15th at 9.30 p.m. and will arrive to Bilbao on October 16th at 8.00 a.m. -
SAN MILLÁN DE LA COGOLLA
After the corresponding breakfast, we will leave Laguardia with our Morgans to San Millán de la Cogolla direction. We will park our cars inside the Monastery´s ground and enjoy a guided tour of it. Once the visit is over, we have planned a route along Morgan roads (Viniegras, Cameros…). Today´s lunch will be a picnic and dinner will take place at the hotel. -
D.O. RIOJA. VISIT TO WINERY
We will enjoy this day driving through vineyards and enjoying a visit to two Rioja wineries. Firstly, we will drive to Haro. We will park the cars and visit CVNE. After this first visit, we will continue with a short route through vineyards to the Balcón de la Rioja and will do a stop to admire this landscape, definitely worth it. The destination will be another well-known winery, more modern, where we have planned a visit and lunch for the group. At night, we will have a farewell dinner that will include a small cocktail, awards ceremony and will end with an open bar party. -
CASTILE. ROMAN VILLA LA OLMEDA
Those who wish to extend the International Meeting tour for a few more days will have the opportunity to discover unknown Castile. The first day of this extension will take us to Frómista, Carrión de los Condes and Saldaña, where we can visit the Roman Villa of Olmeda. On this occasion we will stay at the Parador de Cervera de Pisuerga, where we will also have dinner planned for the group. -
PEAKS OF EUROPE
For this day we will begin with the route of the swamps, to continue through the heart of the Picos de Europa (Puertos de el Pontón, Pandetrave, Panderruedas, San Glorio...). So that everyone can go at their own pace today the lunch will be free. In Potes we will have a reserved space to park the Morgans while the participants visit the town. Today´s accommodation will be at the Parador de Fuente De, where we will also have dinner planned. -
THE CANTÁBRIAN SEA
We will leave the Liébana valley through the Hermida gorge and continue linking small coastal roads with spectacular views of the Cantabrian Sea. We will arrive in Santillana del Mar, where we will have a permit to park our cars in the Town Hall Square and we will enjoy an interesting guided tour. We will stay and have dinner at the Gran Hotel Puente Viesgo, located in the town of the same name. On this occasion, lunch will be free, and dinner at the hotel. -
PASIEGOS VALLEYS
We will end on a high note, with a circular route along some of our favorite roads in the Pasiegos Valleys. It will be a simple journey, not too long, and without a single meter wasted. Today lunch will be free. We will celebrate the end of the trip with a cocktail and farewell dinner at the hotel restaurant. -
PASIEGOS VALLEYS
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will end the trip. Those traveling by ferry back to England will board in Bilbao at 1:00 p.m. and arrive in Portsmouth on October 25 at 7:00 p.m.
