      THE ROADS TO DAVOS

      • June 7, 2025
      • Day 4
Driving in Switzerland in spring is always tricky. We always want to include the most impressive mountain passes in the road book, but sometimes this is not possible because of the snow. Even in June some of the passes could be closed. Not much we can do about this, other than crossing our fingers and checking the road information every day to see if you can follow our road book which will include amazing mountain scenery or if we need to give you an alternative route. Stay will be at the Hotel Precise Tale Seehof (5*) in Davos and dinner will take place at the hotel.

Finishing in Rimini, this almost 200-mile stage follows the river Po and then reaches the Adriatic Sea. Today there aren’t any mountains along the way. The route will avoid highways and there are many interesting places where you can stop if you want a break from driving, like the 5th Century mausoleum of Gala Placidia, the sister of Emperor Theodosius I, situated in Ravenna, decorated with mosaics and with a deep blue vault and dome decorated with starry and floral motifs. Hotel in Rimini will be the Grand Hotel Rimini (5*) and dinner will be at the hotel.

THE CLASSIC MILLE MIGLIA III. BAGNI DI STIGLIANO -CHIANTI

      • June 13, 2025
      • Day 10
The roads in this stage of the Mille Miglia are difficult to put into words. Arguably the most beautiful scenery in Italy, with rolling hills, lakes, medieval villages… and those cypress trees that for some reason wouldn’t look the same if they were in any other place in the world. Tuscany is always a joy, regardless of your reason for visiting. Landscapes, roads, architecture, gastronomy, wines and more. Pienza, Montepulciano, Monticchiello, the Orcia Valley and much more will be on today’s route. The selected hotel for this stage is the Castello di Spaltenna, in the chianti, where dinner and chianti wines will be served tonight.

The roads of the chianti and the amazing Futta Pass, between Florence and Bologna, were on the itinerary of the final edition of the Real Mille Miglia, in 1957. By driving them we want to remember the drivers of that time, when the most beautiful race in the world was a real race. We will finish this stage returning to Lake Garda, where the stay will be at the Savoy Palace Hotel. Today a farewell dinner will take place at the hotel.
