In September 2027, Classics on the Road invites members of the Jaguar XK Club and the Jaguar E-Type Club to discover one of Europe’s most spectacular driving destinations: the magnificent island of Corsica.
From 1st to 14th September 2027, this exclusive 14-day Grand Tour combines three carefully planned days through some of France’s most beautiful regions before crossing the Mediterranean by ferry to Corsica, where an unforgettable island adventure awaits.
Often described as “the mountain in the sea”, Corsica offers some of the finest driving roads in Europe. From dramatic coastal routes and breathtaking mountain passes to picturesque villages, crystal-clear bays and unspoilt landscapes, every day promises a new and unforgettable motoring experience perfectly suited to the character of the Jaguar XK and E-Type.
Throughout the journey, guests will enjoy first-class hospitality, carefully selected luxury hotels, outstanding regional cuisine and exclusive experiences that showcase the rich culture, history and gastronomy of both mainland France and Corsica. Every detail has been designed to provide a relaxed yet refined touring experience shared amongst fellow Jaguar enthusiasts.

1. ARRIVAL AT CHANTILLY
Our Corsica tour begins in the elegant town of Chantilly, where participants will gather at the charming Auberge du Jeu de Paume. This beautiful five-star hotel, set beside the famous Château de Chantilly, provides the perfect setting to begin our journey. During the evening, the Classics on the Road team will warmly welcome all participants and present each crew with their exclusive Welcome Pack, and all the practical information required for the journey ahead. The tour officially begins with a Welcome Cocktail, offering the first opportunity to meet fellow Jaguar XK and E-Type owners before enjoying an elegant Welcome Dinner together. Surrounded by exceptional hospitality and in the company of like-minded enthusiasts, this relaxed first evening sets the tone for the unforgettable adventure that awaits over the following two weeks through France and the spectacular island of Corsica. -
2. BURGUNDY HERITAGE AND CHÂTEAU HOSPITALITY
After breakfast, we leave Chantilly behind and begin the first driving day of our Corsica Grand Tour, following a carefully selected scenic route through the beautiful French countryside towards the heart of Burgundy. Our destination is the elegant Château Sainte-Sabine, a magnificent 17th-century château nestled amongst the vineyards and rolling hills of the Côte-d'Or. Renowned for its refined hospitality and outstanding gastronomy, the château provides the perfect setting for our group lunch, served in its prestigious restaurant, where participants will enjoy the finest flavours of Burgundy in an exceptional historic setting. Following lunch, we continue our journey through Burgundy's picturesque landscapes, enjoying a relaxed afternoon drive towards the charming Château de Saully, our accommodation for the evening. The day concludes with a group dinner at the château, offering another opportunity to savour regional cuisine and warm French hospitality while reflecting on the highlights of the first day's drive before continuing our journey towards the Mediterranean and Corsica. -
3. CHÂTEAU DE LA ROCHE & DRIVE TO THE SOUTH
Following breakfast, we continue our journey south through some of France's most picturesque driving roads, enjoying a carefully planned route towards one of the region's most remarkable historic landmarks. Our morning includes a guided visit to the magnificent Château de La Roche, dramatically set on its rocky island overlooking the Loire River. This beautifully restored château offers a fascinating insight into French history and provides an unforgettable setting for one of the highlights of our journey through mainland France. After the visit, there will be free time for lunch, allowing participants to enjoy the local cuisine before continuing the afternoon drive through ever-changing landscapes towards our next destination. In the evening, we arrive at the beautiful Domaine de Colombier, where we will enjoy a relaxing group dinner and one night stay, surrounded by the charm and tranquillity of the French countryside, before continuing our adventure towards Corsica. -
4. SCENIC DRIVE TO TOULON & OVERNIGHT FERRY TO CORSICA
After breakfast, we continue our journey south on a carefully selected scenic route towards the Mediterranean coast, enjoying some of the finest driving roads in southern France as we make our way to the historic naval city of Toulon, gateway to Corsica. Upon arrival at the port, there will be time to relax before boarding our overnight ferry, marking the beginning of the Corsican chapter of our adventure and offering the unique experience of crossing the Mediterranean with our classic Jaguars. Participants will enjoy dinner on board before retiring to their private cabins for a comfortable overnight sailing, with the opportunity to unwind and anticipate the remarkable island that awaits. The ferry is scheduled to arrive in L'Île-Rousse at approximately 8:00 a.m. the following morning, where an unforgettable journey through Corsica's spectacular mountain roads, dramatic coastline and charming villages will begin. -
5. WELCOME TO CORSICA
Arriving in L'Île-Rousse at approximately 8:00 a.m., we begin our long-awaited Corsican adventure with a spectacular driving route showcasing the island's extraordinary natural beauty and some of the finest roads in the Mediterranean. From the moment we leave the port, participants will experience why Corsica is considered a true paradise for driving enthusiasts, with its dramatic mountain passes, turquoise coastline, fragrant maquis and charming hilltop villages creating an unforgettable journey behind the wheel of our Jaguars. There will be free time for lunch en route, providing the perfect opportunity to discover authentic Corsican cuisine and soak up the relaxed atmosphere of one of the island's picturesque villages. Later in the afternoon, we arrive at the welcoming Basgi Basgi Hotel, our home for the next two nights, ideally located for exploring the unspoilt beauty of northern Corsica. The day concludes with a group dinner at the hotel, where we celebrate our arrival on the Island of Beauty and toast the beginning of an unforgettable Corsican adventure shared with fellow Jaguar enthusiasts.
