In September 2027, Classics on the Road invites members of the Jaguar XK Club and the Jaguar E-Type Club to discover one of Europe’s most spectacular driving destinations: the magnificent island of Corsica.
From 1st to 14th September 2027, this exclusive 14-day Grand Tour combines three carefully planned days through some of France’s most beautiful regions before crossing the Mediterranean by ferry to Corsica, where an unforgettable island adventure awaits.
Often described as “the mountain in the sea”, Corsica offers some of the finest driving roads in Europe. From dramatic coastal routes and breathtaking mountain passes to picturesque villages, crystal-clear bays and unspoilt landscapes, every day promises a new and unforgettable motoring experience perfectly suited to the character of the Jaguar XK and E-Type.
Throughout the journey, guests will enjoy first-class hospitality, carefully selected luxury hotels, outstanding regional cuisine and exclusive experiences that showcase the rich culture, history and gastronomy of both mainland France and Corsica. Every detail has been designed to provide a relaxed yet refined touring experience shared amongst fellow Jaguar enthusiasts.

1. ARRIVAL AT CHANTILLY
Our Corsica tour begins in the elegant town of Chantilly, where participants will gather at the charming Auberge du Jeu de Paume. This beautiful five-star hotel, set beside the famous Château de Chantilly, provides the perfect setting to begin our journey. During the evening, the Classics on the Road team will warmly welcome all participants and present each crew with their exclusive Welcome Pack, and all the practical information required for the journey ahead. The tour officially begins with a Welcome Cocktail, offering the first opportunity to meet fellow Jaguar XK and E-Type owners before enjoying an elegant Welcome Dinner together. Surrounded by exceptional hospitality and in the company of like-minded enthusiasts, this relaxed first evening sets the tone for the unforgettable adventure that awaits over the following two weeks through France and the spectacular island of Corsica. -
2. BURGUNDY HERITAGE AND CHÂTEAU HOSPITALITY
After breakfast, we leave Chantilly behind and begin the first driving day of our Corsica Grand Tour, following a carefully selected scenic route through the beautiful French countryside towards the heart of Burgundy. Our destination is the elegant Château Sainte-Sabine, a magnificent 17th-century château nestled amongst the vineyards and rolling hills of the Côte-d'Or. Renowned for its refined hospitality and outstanding gastronomy, the château provides the perfect setting for our group lunch, served in its prestigious restaurant, where participants will enjoy the finest flavours of Burgundy in an exceptional historic setting. Following lunch, we continue our journey through Burgundy's picturesque landscapes, enjoying a relaxed afternoon drive towards the charming Château de Saully, our accommodation for the evening. The day concludes with a group dinner at the château, offering another opportunity to savour regional cuisine and warm French hospitality while reflecting on the highlights of the first day's drive before continuing our journey towards the Mediterranean and Corsica. -
3. CHÂTEAU DE LA ROCHE & DRIVE TO THE SOUTH
Following breakfast, we continue our journey south through some of France's most picturesque driving roads, enjoying a carefully planned route towards one of the region's most remarkable historic landmarks. Our morning includes a guided visit to the magnificent Château de La Roche, dramatically set on its rocky island overlooking the Loire River. This beautifully restored château offers a fascinating insight into French history and provides an unforgettable setting for one of the highlights of our journey through mainland France. After the visit, there will be free time for lunch, allowing participants to enjoy the local cuisine before continuing the afternoon drive through ever-changing landscapes towards our next destination. In the evening, we arrive at the beautiful Domaine de Colombier, where we will enjoy a relaxing group dinner and one night stay, surrounded by the charm and tranquillity of the French countryside, before continuing our adventure towards Corsica. -
4. SCENIC DRIVE TO TOULON & OVERNIGHT FERRY TO CORSICA
After breakfast, we continue our journey south on a carefully selected scenic route towards the Mediterranean coast, enjoying some of the finest driving roads in southern France as we make our way to the historic naval city of Toulon, gateway to Corsica. Upon arrival at the port, there will be time to relax before boarding our overnight ferry, marking the beginning of the Corsican chapter of our adventure and offering the unique experience of crossing the Mediterranean with our classic Jaguars. Participants will enjoy dinner on board before retiring to their private cabins for a comfortable overnight sailing, with the opportunity to unwind and anticipate the remarkable island that awaits. The ferry is scheduled to arrive in L'Île-Rousse at approximately 8:00 a.m. the following morning, where an unforgettable journey through Corsica's spectacular mountain roads, dramatic coastline and charming villages will begin. -
5. WELCOME TO CORSICA
Arriving in L'Île-Rousse at approximately 8:00 a.m., we begin our long-awaited Corsican adventure with a spectacular driving route showcasing the island's extraordinary natural beauty and some of the finest roads in the Mediterranean. From the moment we leave the port, participants will experience why Corsica is considered a true paradise for driving enthusiasts, with its dramatic mountain passes, turquoise coastline, fragrant maquis and charming hilltop villages creating an unforgettable journey behind the wheel of our Jaguars. There will be free time for lunch en route, providing the perfect opportunity to discover authentic Corsican cuisine and soak up the relaxed atmosphere of one of the island's picturesque villages. Later in the afternoon, we arrive at the welcoming Basgi Basgi Hotel, our home for the next two nights, ideally located for exploring the unspoilt beauty of northern Corsica. The day concludes with a group dinner at the hotel, where we celebrate our arrival on the Island of Beauty and toast the beginning of an unforgettable Corsican adventure shared with fellow Jaguar enthusiasts. -
6. DISCOVER SAINT-FLORENT
Today is dedicated to enjoying the charming seaside town of Saint-Florent, one of Corsica's most elegant and picturesque destinations, often referred to as the "Saint-Tropez of Corsica." Nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the rugged Cap Corse peninsula, Saint-Florent is renowned for its attractive marina, historic citadel, lively cafés, boutique shops and relaxed atmosphere. Participants will have the day at leisure to stroll through the narrow streets of the old town, enjoy lunch by the waterfront, visit the local market, or simply relax by the harbour and soak up the Mediterranean ambience. Those wishing to explore further may also choose to visit the nearby Patrimonio wine region, famous for producing some of Corsica's finest wines, or take a boat excursion to the spectacular white-sand beaches of the Désert des Agriates. In the evening, we will gather once again for a group dinner, sharing the day's experiences while enjoying another memorable evening of Corsican hospitality in the company of fellow Jaguar enthusiasts. -
7. COASTAL DRIVE TO CARGÉSE
After breakfast, we leave Saint-Florent and continue our exploration of Corsica, following one of the island's most spectacular coastal routes towards the charming village of Cargèse. Today's drive offers an unforgettable combination of dramatic mountain scenery, winding roads and breathtaking views across the Mediterranean, showcasing the extraordinary diversity that makes Corsica one of Europe's finest touring destinations. There will be free time for lunch en route, allowing participants to enjoy the local cuisine and discover one of the island's picturesque villages at their own pace. In the afternoon, we arrive at the elegant Hotel Mylos, where we will stay for two nights. The day concludes with a group dinner, providing another wonderful opportunity to relax together and enjoy the renowned hospitality and flavours of Corsica after an exceptional day's driving. -
8. DISCOVER THE CALANQUES DE PIANA BY SEA
After breakfast, we will discover Corsica from a completely different perspective with a guided boat excursion along the island's spectacular west coast. Relaxing on board with refreshments served during the cruise, participants will enjoy the magnificent scenery while our guide shares fascinating insights into this remarkable coastline. The highlight of the excursion is the breathtaking Calanques de Piana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its dramatic red granite cliffs sculpted by nature into extraordinary rock formations. Rising steeply from the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Porto, these spectacular cliffs are considered one of Corsica's greatest natural wonders and are best admired from the sea. Following the boat excursion, there will be free time for lunch, allowing participants to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Cargèse and sample the flavours of Corsican cuisine at their leisure. In the evening, we will gather once again for a group dinner at the hotel, sharing another unforgettable day exploring one of the Mediterranean's most spectacular coastlines in the company of fellow Jaguar enthusiasts. -
9. INTO THE HEART OF CORSICA
After breakfast, we leave the west coast behind and head inland, following one of Corsica's most rewarding driving routes through dramatic mountain scenery, forested valleys and spectacular highland landscapes. Today's journey showcases a completely different side of the island, with quiet winding roads, traditional Corsican villages and breathtaking panoramic views, making it a true highlight for driving enthusiasts. There will be free time for lunch en route, offering the opportunity to discover the authentic flavours of Corsican mountain cuisine at leisure. In the afternoon, we arrive at the exclusive Le Mouflon d'Or, one of Corsica's most iconic luxury hotels, beautifully set in the heart of the island. This elegant property will be our home for the next three nights, providing the perfect base from which to explore Corsica's stunning interior. The day concludes with a group dinner at the hotel, where participants can relax and enjoy the refined hospitality and exceptional cuisine in one of the island's most prestigious settings. -
10. CUCURUZZU & CORSICA´S PREHISTORIC HERITAGE
After breakfast, we set off on another spectacular driving route through the mountains and forests of southern Corsica, enjoying some of the island's most scenic and rewarding roads. The highlight of the day is a guided visit to the archaeological site of Cucuruzzu, one of Corsica's most important prehistoric settlements. Hidden within a beautiful oak forest, this remarkable site dates back more than 3,000 years and offers a fascinating insight into the island's early civilisations. Walking through its ancient stone structures and fortified remains is a unique opportunity to discover a lesser-known chapter of Corsica's rich history. Following the visit, we will enjoy a group lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant, where participants will have the opportunity to savour authentic Corsican cuisine in a traditional setting. In the afternoon, we continue our scenic drive before returning to Le Mouflon d'Or. The day concludes with a group dinner at the hotel, offering another relaxed evening to share the day's experiences in the elegant surroundings of this exceptional mountain retreat. -
11. BONIFACIO, THE JEWEL OF SOUTHERN CORSICA
After breakfast, we embark on one of the most spectacular drives of the tour as we head south to the extraordinary town of Bonifacio, undoubtedly one of Corsica's most iconic destinations. Perched dramatically atop towering white limestone cliffs overlooking the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean, Bonifacio is a place of remarkable beauty and history. Its medieval citadel, narrow cobbled streets, lively marina and breathtaking panoramic views make it one of the island's true highlights. Participants will have time to wander through the historic old town, admire the impressive fortifications or simply enjoy the unique atmosphere of this unforgettable coastal setting. There will be free time for lunch, offering the opportunity to discover one of Bonifacio's many excellent restaurants overlooking the harbour or the sea. In the afternoon, we enjoy another memorable drive back through Corsica's magnificent landscapes before returning to Le Mouflon d'Or hotel. The evening concludes with a group dinner at the hotel, providing the perfect opportunity to reflect on another exceptional day of driving and discovery while enjoying the refined hospitality of one of Corsica's finest mountain retreats, before continuing our island adventure the following day. -
12. THE FINAL CHAPTER IN CORSICA
After breakfast, we leave Le Mouflon d'Or and continue our journey through Corsica, enjoying one final day behind the wheel on some of the island's most beautiful and rewarding roads. Today's carefully planned route winds through dramatic mountain landscapes, peaceful forests and traditional Corsican villages, offering countless opportunities to appreciate the island's extraordinary natural beauty. As the scenery gradually changes once more, participants will experience the authentic character of Corsica, where every bend reveals another breathtaking panorama. There will be free time for lunch en route, allowing guests to stop in one of the charming local villages and savour the flavours of Corsican cuisine at their own pace. In the afternoon, we arrive at the elegant Dominique Colonna Hotel, a charming boutique property beautifully set on the banks of the crystal-clear Restonica River, surrounded by unspoilt mountain scenery near the historic town of Corte. Renowned for its peaceful atmosphere, contemporary design and exceptional hospitality, it provides the perfect setting to unwind after an unforgettable journey across the island. Our Corsican adventure concludes with a Farewell Dinner at the hotel, celebrating the spectacular roads, breathtaking scenery, new friendships and unforgettable moments shared throughout our time on the Island of Beauty before beginning our journey back to mainland France the following day. -
13. FAREWELL CORSICA & OVERNIGHT FERRY TO FRANCE
After breakfast, we begin the final driving stage across Corsica, enjoying one last opportunity to experience the island's spectacular roads and breathtaking scenery as we make our way north towards L'Île-Rousse. There will be free time for lunch before arriving at the port, allowing participants to enjoy one last taste of Corsican cuisine and soak up the island's unique atmosphere. In the late afternoon, we board the overnight ferry, departing L'Île-Rousse at approximately 6:00 p.m. for the return crossing to mainland France. Guests will spend the night on board in private cabins, enjoying a relaxing evening at sea before arriving in Toulon at approximately 7:00 a.m. the following morning, bringing our memorable Corsican journey to a close. -
14. ARRIVAL IN TOULON & END OF THE TOUR
In the early morning, our ferry arrives in Toulon at approximately 7:00 a.m., marking the conclusion of our unforgettable Corsica Grand Tour. After disembarkation, it is time to say farewell to fellow participants and begin the journey home, taking with us wonderful memories of fourteen exceptional days filled with spectacular driving roads, breathtaking scenery, outstanding hospitality and the unique camaraderie shared amongst Jaguar XK and E-Type enthusiasts. From the elegant châteaux of mainland France to the dramatic mountains and turquoise coastline of Corsica, this tour offers an unforgettable collection of experiences that will remain long in the memory.
