AMOC, together with touring experts Classics on the Road, have designed a great tour that will take travellers to Austria, where an international meet-up will take place to celebrate the AMOC 90th Anniversary weekend at Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer.

Starting on September 20th, 2025 in the champagne region, visits are planned that include AMOC partners Pommery, where a cellar visit followed by dinner will take place and the famous Schlumph Collection in Mulhouse, France.

The scenic back roads will please even the most experienced drivers and travellers. The Champagne Region, the Vosges, the Black Forest, the Rhine River Falls, Lake Constance, the Silvretta Road and much more are part of the itinerary, with stays at carefully selected 4 Star hotels.

After the weekend celebration, there will be an option to return to the UK or participate on a three-day tour over the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and some of the most beautiful mountain passes in the Dolomites and the famous Stelvio Pass at 9045 feet!

    • PRE EVENT TOUR. REIMS, WHERE THE BEST CHAMPAGNE IS MADE

      • September 20, 2025
      • Day 1
On this first day of the pre-event tour, the participants will meet at the Loisium Wine & Spa, located in the middle of the Champagne vineyards. Once all participants have arrived, welcome packs will be given out by the tour organization. A visit to Vranken Pommery cellars is scheduled for late afternoon. Pommery is one of AMOC Sponsors. Since the company was founded by Paul-Francois Vranken in 1976, Vranken-Pommery Monopole has continuously developed its Champagne houses in harmony with the wine estates that they have acquired over the years. The group is currently the Number One producer of Rosé wine worldwide and Number Two for Champagne. We have scheduled a welcome dinner after the visit during which the Road Books will be presented to the participants and a tour briefing will take place.
    • ALSACE, THE JEWEL OF EASTERN FRANCE

      • September 21, 2025
      • Day 2
Today´s destination is Colmar. The Little Venice of France is one of the medieval jewels of Alsace: a succession of canals, picturesque corners, characteristic alleyways overlooked by delightful half-timbered houses. The enchanting town of Colmar looks like something out of a storybook. It is undoubtedly one of the most romantic and marvellous cities in Europe: it boasts an extensive, perfectly preserved medieval old town. To get to Colmar, the itinerary will follow mostly back roads, including the Der-Chantecoq Lake, the largest artificial lake in France and the Vosges forests. In Colmar, the stay for the next two nights will be at the Husseren Hotel & Spa 4*. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
    • THE BALLON D´ALSACE & THE MULHOUSE MUSEUM

      • September 22, 2025
      • Day 3
In the heart of the Vosges, at the frontier between Alsace and Franche-Comté, there is a route that no driver should miss. The Ballon d’Alsace is a mountain with views that include the Vosges, the Rhine valley, the Black Forest, and the Alps. The peak at the Col du Ballon d'Alsace is at 1,171 m (3,842 ft). The pass is noted as the site of the first official mountain climb in the Tour de France on 11 July 1905. The destination will be Mulhouse, where travellers can visit the Schlumph Collection, now the property of the French Goverment. The National Automobile Museum houses the most beautiful automobile collection in the world with more than 450 exceptional cars. Tonight, dinner is planned to be served at the hotel.
    • THE BLACK FOREST, RHINE RIVER FALLS &  ST. GALLEN

      • September 23, 2025
      • Day 4
A scenic route through the Black Forest, passing by the lakeside town of Titisee to arrive to Schaffhausen in Switzerland, where a boat ride will be arranged for the group to admire the Rhine River waterfalls from the best viewing point. The Rhine Falls are 150 meters wide and 23 meters high, and with an average water flow of 600 m3/s in summer they are the most powerfull waterfalls in Europe. The route will continue towards St Gallen, a compact metropolis between Lake Constance and Appenzellerland with a charming, traffic-free old town. Colourfully-painted oriel windows are a town feature. The Abbey precinct with the cathedral and Abbey Library has been accorded UNESCO World Heritage listing. A visit is highly recommended. The stay tonight will be at the Oberwaid hotel, 4*-star superior hotel in St. Gallen with a wide view over the Lake Constance.
    • SILVRETTA ROAD, ONE OF THE BEST DRIVES IN EUROPE. ARRIVAL TO HOHENSCHWANGAUTHE

      • September 24, 2025
      • Day 5
The Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße in the Austrian Tyrol is one of the most beautiful and popular mountain roads in the Alps. It is no coincidence that it is also called “the dream road in the Alps for connoisseurs”. The spectacular mountain backdrop of Silvretta peak and the Vermunt and Silvretta lakes, which the road passes directly by, cast a spell over visitors. The route will finish in Fussen, just a few footsteps away from the Neuschwanstein Castle. The stay in Fussen will be at the Ameron Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & SPA, a 4-star superior hotel surrounded by forests and an extraordinary mountain panorama, located at the foot of the two royal castles Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein.
    • GERMAN ALPINE ROAD & ARRIVAL TO THE HOTEL´S EVENT

      • September 25, 2025
      • Day 6
The last day of the pre-event tour will start with a guided visit to the Neuschwanstein Castle, the home of Ludwig II, King of Bavaria since 1864. After the Castle visit, a route through the German Alpenstrasse, with great scenery through mountains and lakes, will take travellers to the hotel Gut Brandlehof, in Austria, where the Aston Martin 90th Anniversary Weekend Celebrations will commence.
    • POST-EVENT TOUR. DRIVING THE AMAZING GROSSGLOCKNER & STAY AT THE DOLOMITES

      • September 28, 2025
      • Day 7
The Post-Event tour will commence in The Grossglockner High Alpine Road, which proceeds from the Salzburg town of Fusch on the Grossglockner Road to Heiligenblut am Grossglockner on the Carinthian side, is one of the best-known landmarks in Austria and is regarded as one of the loveliest excursion and panoramic roads in the world. Most of this high Alpine road, which spans 48 kilometres in length, blends almost seamlessly into the mountains, with every twist and turn heading straight into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Right up to Austria’s highest mountain, the Grossglockner and the Pasterze Glacier, the biggest glacier that is still in existence in the East Alps. Majestic mountain summits, glaciers, lush valleys and woodlands – a sight that provides mountains of amazement! The route will go on through the amazing Dolomites, the most beautiful mountain drive in Northern Italy, where the stay will be at the Lifestyle Hotel Marmolada.
    • THE STELVIO PASS. TOUCHING THE SKY

      • September 29, 2025
      • Day 8
The Stelvio Pass, at 9045 feet is the highest paved mountain pass in the Eastern Alps. The original road was built in 1820–25 by the Austrian Empire to connect the former Habsburg possession of Lombardy with Austria. Since then, the route has changed very little. Its seventy-five hairpin turns, 48 of them on the northern side numbered with stones, are a challenge to drivers. The stay tonight will be in Davos, and the selected hotel is the Sheraton Davos, where dinner will also be served.
    • THE VOSGES

      • September 30, 2025
      • Day 9
A highway route to reach the Vosges du North, not far from Strasbourg. Along the way the route will pass by Zurich, Basel, and Strasbourg. The final destination is the Hotel La Clairiere, a great hotel in the middle of an amazing forest, where a farewell dinner will take place tonight.
    • END OF THE TOUR

      • October 1, 2025
      • Day 10
Today we reach the end of the tour. Breakfast is included at the hotel, and travellers can depart to their places of origin.
